Who we are
sMOOches was inspired by Yasmeen’s passion for natural healing. Yasmeen is a Holistic Psychotherapist with a certification in Integrative Mental Health. Within the span of a year, 3 of Yasmeen’s close family members were diagnosed with skin cancer. She was tired of preaching about how the skin is the largest organ and we “shouldn’t put anything on our skin, that we wouldn’t put in our mouth”. Instead of pleading with her friends and family to read ingredient labels, she decided to create her own, and so sMOOches was born. sMOOches uses only the finest high-quality, organic, locally sourced ingredients- and everything is edible!
Yasmeen and her husband, Nicholas, have built relationships with local farmers. The tallow is made from suet which they purchase from local New Jersey farms. Yasmeen then hand-renders it!
Each product is thoughtfully created with intention and consultation with other holistic-based practitioners (herbalists, naturopathic doctors, health-food store operators, etc.) When you support sMOOches, you are supporting sustainability, local farmers, herbalists, apothecaries, and families.
